okay i think the curly pudding works great for my twist out, because i use like 3 products in my hair ONLY 100%natural shea butter,VO5 as a leave in[moisture milks],and EVOO, and i found that when i use miss jessie’s i don’t have to use any of those products but miss jessies only!! great stuff for me anyways it leave my hair very moisturized, i have combination hair 3b,3c,4a,4b but my hair texture is changing more so into mostly 3c,4a so idk my hair is wierd

Hi! This is my first post. Thank you for all your advice. I currently use the meringue and I prefer the baby buttercreme. The scent on the pudding is a little much for me, but the meringue smells great! The baby buttercreme seems lighter and has a fresh smell to it. Enjoy!

Miss Jessies is ok but it does dry your hair and scalp out

Try the Buttercream first. It is a decent moisturizer. I have tried the merinque and pudding with little success. My hair felt hard after use. FYI: I have 4B hair.

I am a PJ! I have all the products except the Silkener. I love the fragrance of the purple Curly Pudding! The Meringue and Puddings are “styling” products. The buttercremes are moisturizers. The best moisturizer for me AND my husband is the Baby Buttercreme! Can’t wait to see your results.

i have never done videos to get products, I clearly buy the products and try them and then the company approaches me with a thank you gift. I would be a fool to say no to free merchandise. I will continue to keep it real and my views are unbiased.

Try the curly meringue - it’s good at what it does in terms of styling, curl definition, etc. The buttercreams weren’t moisturizing for me. You can find a better moisturizer, but their stylers are great even if not natural.

great video.. you camera is soo clear what kind is it?
April 5th, 2009 at 5:55 pm
I don’t think all videos like this are scams but I’m sure it’s cause and effect; a company sees that a youtuber has a lot of views and their opinion is trusted and they try to get the word out in that manner. Most people do admit when they got something free and their opinions rarely seem biased. If the product was free but wasn’t a good product there’s no real reason to lie, it’s not like they would want more of it.

I like the buttercream and baby buttercream based on their scents but I found MissJessie’s overall to be overrated for the price. They’re not so natural or something that you can understand why they’re so expensive and the results aren’t so great that the prices are justified. The buttercreams are good moisturizers but the curl results seem to be technique based not product based. Just my two cents on the matter, lol.

The Curly pudding or the Curly buttercream. You should try it on your skin first because Najahface had an allergic reaction.
April 13th, 2009 at 3:01 pm
Try the curly pudding. I’m a type 4 gal and would love to know how it works on that hair type before I shell out an arm and a leg for it.

I will give you props for keeping it real and letting the lid off the scam.
April 16th, 2009 at 11:51 pm
I KNEW people were doing these videos because they get free products. This is a scam in the highest. They want free positive advertising. I’m done watching these videos.

wow you are so lucky! Enjoy playing with the products, Ive never tried Ms.Jessie’s - Your hair is getting so long!!!!!!!!!!
April 19th, 2009 at 5:33 am
I have tried them all except the silkening one. The baby buttercream and the rapid recovery treatment are the bomb. Although after I use this last set I have I will look for something a bit cheaper. I vote baby buttercream!!!
April 19th, 2009 at 8:55 pm
I have all the Miss Jessie’s styling products–but not the silkener/shampoo/conditioner.
FYI: THe baby buttercreme and the curly buttercreme are the same thing–one has fragrance and the other doesn’t. I use these as moisturizers to twist/braid with.
FYI: The curly pudding and curly meringue…these are styling agents to be compared to Kinky Curly Curling Custard. These work better for some than for others!
I look forward to your reviews on ALL of them, tho! Have fun!

From what I hear…it’s definitely not the silkener at all! But I’ll probably be staying away from it as well–the name alone, creeps me out too much…LOL!!
April 22nd, 2009 at 10:40 pm
i tried the curly meringue and the curly pudding and they both flaked really bad (when it dried). my friend tried the silkening stretch cream and she said it flaked horribly on her hair. the buttercreme was the best out of all the miss jessie’s products, it doesn’t flake and its a decent moisturizer.
I just tried Carol’s Daughter Healthy Hair Butter and i love it, i think its way better than Miss Jessies.
April 25th, 2009 at 12:07 pm
i think you should try the curly buttercream first!!
April 28th, 2009 at 9:32 am
I have the baby buttercream it good for my daughters hair(ponytails & twist) the curly pudding does nothing for my hair and I like the silkening stretch cream it makes your hair loose with a shine to it.
April 28th, 2009 at 11:34 pm
Curly Buttercream! I was also wary about that Silkening thing…sounds like silkener.
